Kraven The Hunter
Kraven the Hunter made his comic book debut in The Amazing Spider-Man # 15 in August of 1964.
Kraven was originally known as Sergei Kravinoff who has a self-obessed big game hunter. He aims to defeat Spiderman to prove that he is in fact the best hunter in the world.
Kraven is not your usual hunter. He never uses guns or bows, he prefers to take on his prey with his bare hands. He has a serum he uses to gain strength that comes close to that of Spiderman, but it is not permanent so he must keep taking more.
It was Spiderman's other villain, The Chameleon that gave Kraven the Hunter the idea that he should hunt Spiderman.
