Birth of the Sandman
Sandman was also known by two other names in his life, William Baker and Flint Marko. He made his comic book debut in The Amazing Spiderman #4 in September of 1963.
Through an accident he was able to turn himself into sand and shapeshift. Although Sandman started off as a Spiderman villain, he eventually became Spiderman's ally.
